Public Enemy
Public Enemy, pioneering rap group, arrived
in 1987 with a critical discourse on social policy and the
media. The collective of Chuck D did not survive the
redistribution of roles that have redefined the genre in the
mid 90, despite major albums like It Takes A Nation of Millions ... and Fear of a Black Planet. It was also the first to offer an album on a digital. So it gives a helping hand
delivering furniture with his father, Chuck D (born Carlton Ridenhour in
1960) honed his style, a mixture of social and political
criticism raised on rhythmic punch forming the backbone of
musical pieces overcrowded with various sounds, on behalf of
City Spectrum. In the company of Flavor Flav (William
Drayton Jr., 1959) and architects of the sound Bomb Squad (Hank and Keith Shocklee, Gary G-Wiz,
Eric "Vietnam " Sadler), they released " Check Out the Radio" and its B side
" Lies " that do not go unnoticed among their future
colleagues label, Run DMC and the Beastie Boys.
