Under the name rather provincial Anna Mae Bullock that the
future Tina Turner was born, November 26 1939 in the small town of Nutbush (Tennessee,
USA), in a family of mixed black Navajo Indian origins. His father having left the family home Anna
is then abandoned by her mother, to be high for several years by his grandmother,
under poor economic conditions, Southern in the countryside. If Tina showed talent for singing, especially in the choir of her church,
circa 1956, the girl found her mother and sister St. Louis, where
she moved to live with them. The city of Missouri is the "
capital of the Blues " and Anna begins soon frequenting music clubs.
In 1957 it made the acquaintance of Ike Turner, talented
musician and Blues Rock, seven years his senior, known locally for his musical & Ike the Kings of Rhythm.
Anna begins to literally be the seat of Ike to get a place of opera in his band.
